Marinate your vegetables, your fish or your meat. Add a distinguished taste to your potato/pasta salad. Or simply dip your bread in it and enjoy the wild scents of the Cretan earth.
The wild sage is collected by my father from the hills around our family farm in the village of Kityros, a small settlement that lies at the southwestern corner of Crete. Winds blow from Africa, Europe and Asia above this rocky land where olive trees have been growing for ages. Olive oil is the main economy in our area as well as the most important source of nutrients for my relatives and my neighbors, who enjoy an extraordinary health and live to be 100 years old.
We aim at sharing our valuable foods with people around the world and help everyone come closer to a nutrition that supports health, happiness, and longevity.
