Tweet Hoot is a very wise Tawny owl, he is always thinking... he likes reading books on ornithology and voles... he especially likes voles, he thinks they are the tastiest of all treats but will accept chocolate buttons if voles are unavailable.
Hoots are the older wiser cousins of Tweets, where Tweets are always playing Hoots are always thinking! Sometimes Hoots and Tweets have Tweet Hoots of their own combining joy and wisdom in one cute little package
The tawny owl is nocturnal so it is often heard calling at night, but much less often seen. In the daytime, you may see one only if you disturb it inadvertently from its roost site in woodland up against a tree trunk or among ivy. Look for pellets below roosting places.
