I created this little egg using a cameo punchneedle, which is akin to an ancient rug hooking technique on a smaller scale. I drew up the egg on weaver's cloth and used my adjustable needle to create the egg.
It's double mounted on two layers of hand dyed felted wool, and a pin backing has been securly sewn onto the back.
The overall size is 2 1/2" tall by 2" wide. The punch needle portion is about 1 3/4" tall by 1 1/4" wide, but may vary just slightly.

Some elements may vary slightly depending upon availability of products needed to create the piece. Each one is hand drawn (no pattern) so please allow for subtle differences. I endeavor to stick as closely to original as possible but sometimes thread shades will vary slightly - as most are hand dyed.
