Beautifully hand carved, I'm not sure where it's from, I can't quite make out the makers mark on the bottom, but it doesn't appear to be English...
Occasionally, in the dead of night, it will ask it's owner an unanswerable question, which if actually answered will pull the answerer into a trans-dimensional shell outside of our space-time continuum.*
