One of a kind, artisan necklace made from 1930's vintage erector set pieces and sparkly Chinese Glass crystals. Vintage pieces were polished, crystals were attached, and the back is finished off with a piece of sheet metal that was soldered to it. The beautiful medallion hangs from double brass chains of various thickness. The result is a totally unique combination of industrial style with delicate sparkle. An erector set was a toy set of metal pieces that children could build with and this particular set was Meccano brand and was made in England in the 1930's.
Each piece of jewelry that I make is not only one-of-a-kind but also very thought out. I try to achieve just the right amount of balance with materials, colors, and textures to make the best possible piece of jewelry that I would also wear myself!
