Here's a bit of history from two other online sites: "Production of the White Shoulders perfume line was first started sometime in the 1940s (dates vary from 1943 to 1949.) by the design house of Evyan. Prior to Evyan, the company was briefly- Hartnell, so some of the older White Shoulders perfumes are bottled under a Hartnell label. After Hartnell, the company was named Lady Evyan, and then just Evyan. White Shoulders is a blending of the floral fragrances of gardenia, lilac, amber, oakmoss, and jasmine, (to name a few) and it is recommended for evening wear." This pretty dusting powder and box, is a lovely remembrance of past fashion styles, that will grace your dressing table or vanity!
