What is more Spring-like than the colors of a pansy - yellow and lavender? Sometimes little girls need some cute denim jeans - when they are helping Mommy in the garden, or playing with baby brother in the sandbox. Or maybe when there is still just a tad chill in the air.
All three of these pieces are a size 1-2, check measurements below.
1 - Blouse - 100% cotton. Collar has small lavender ruffle, and sleeves have lavender trim with a knot bow.
2 - Overalls - 100% cotton, light weight denim. Pockets mimic blouse collar with ruffle, and then the added bows across them are hand sewn on top of the pockets. (The bows were an afterthought, but I think they are darling!) There is a tie in the back to adjust size.
3 - Jumper - 100% cotton, same denim as overalls. It is plain, the straps button in the back, inside the jumper. So the jumper, even though the top is lined in lavender, could be worn with any shirt.
Both the overalls and jumper are not hemmed. This allows you to specify the length you prefer. The hem will be put in at no extra charge. If you would like a ruffle on the hems, such as is on the blouse collar and the overall pockets, it will be an extra $8 per garment ($8 for the overalls, and $8 for the jumper).
This is 100% cotton. The fabric was washed before sewing, and then it was washed again after it was complete. I wash the completed garments in the very natural and gentle laundry soap that I make myself, and incidentally, sell here on Esty under the name PlainJane4. If you take it out of the dryer right away and hang it up, it will need minimal ironing.
The fabrics I use are generally 100% cotton, quilt shop quality (which is the best quality).

Overalls -
waist as shown - 22" (waist untied in back) 24"
Length from top of shoulder to bottom - 23 3/4
Jumper -
waist 23"
Length from top of shoulder - 18"
Blouse -
Chest - 22"
Sleeve length - 4 1/2"
Sleeve around bottom edge - 10"
Length from middle neckline - 9 1/2"
Tips for measuring - if you don't have a sewing tape measure, but you have a construction tape measure this is what you do. Take a string, and run it around her waist, marking the spot where the beginning and end meet. Measure this against the metal tape measure. Use the string to measure the lengths etc, and just measure them against the metal tape measure. Questions? Convo me! :)
And remember, you want room for wiggling. If your little girls waist measures 22-23", this will be too small.
