I've seen alot of jewelry but I've never seen anything like these. The lucite and paint are designed in such a way that, from certain angles, the bracelets look like they are all one color, and from other angles, you can see the corners are left clear.
These are the COOLEST things going. They were painted inside with a layer of whispy golden paint, then a layer of the main color was painted over, leaving the brush strokes very much intact.
They are in excellent vintage condition. The paint (obviously acrylic or oil paint because of the durability) inside has the tiniest chip out of it here or there, but it is not noticeable, as you can see in the photos. If they were going to STAY mine, I'd put a clear coat on the inside to preserve the finish, but I have NOT done this...so as not to ruin the vintage character of these bangles.
These bangles are 3" wide, with a 2 1/2 inch opening and will fit a medium to smaller hand best. I have larger hands (from swinging a hammer) and cannot wear them.
