The title is inspired by this quote
"She's somewhere in the sunlight strong, / Her tears are in the falling rain, / She calls me in the wind's soft song, / And with the flowers she comes again."
Richard Gallienne
Created on a birch panel prepared with gesso and modeling paste, creating a unique surface with mysterious atmosphere.
I developed this unique drawing technique as a modern approach to charcoal drawing. The surface can be sanded as I draw, allowing for numerous revisions. The texture created on the surface builds an atmosphere as I apply several layers of charcoal to the drawing.
The panel measure 11" x 14", it sits about 2" off the wall. wired and ready for framing. The surface has been sealed with archival acrylic spray, but caution should always be used when handling and displaying Original Art.
Signed by me, the artist.
