Easter Bunny Spun Cotton Ornament - Handmade Folk Art Easter Bunny Spun Cotton Ornament - Handmade Folk Art
This spun cotton Easter rabbit ornament is a handmade original design by Old World Primitives.

She wears a hand dyed peach crepe paper skirt with a yellow crepe paper waistband. She is also embellished with two tiny red seed beads, and carries a Victorian reproduction paper scrap Easter basket filled with colored Easter eggs. I have tea stained the bunny's entire body to give her an antique appearance, and completed her with a sweet reproduction Victorian paper scrap bunny face.

This antique style spun cotton Easter bunny ornament is ready to hang from your Easter, spring, or shabby chic style feather tree - or wherever you imagine her. She is approximately 4 1/2" tall, and will come to you signed and dated.

Spun cotton is a craft that dates back to the late 1800s with origins in Germany. I enjoy keeping the tradition alive for fellow collectors of this unique art form.
