From street jester to Comedia Del Arte, animal figures were an acceptable way to mock society and its standards. This mischievous jester with her whimsical face brought laughter to royalty and peasants alike.
Her costume is of antique lace, handcrafted ceramic and wooden beads (made in Copenhagen in 1920), natural fabrics, fur, hand spun and dyed yarn along with satins and brocades.
