*******Artistic process*******
I hand-picked several cotton shirts, pants and sheets from the 'bins' at the Goodwill outlet store, then washed them and cut them up to create this tote on my reliable 1950s Singer Sewing machine. It features five colorful ruffles the circulate the purse, with a colorful striped pattern at the rim. The rest of the exterior has been sewn from durable blue jean. A "MegExpressions" and frog logo tag has been sewn to the outside. The interior is made from a repurposed white sheet, and 'handmade from recycled materials' has been stamped to the inside. The Emely closes with a bow tie.
