This is a beautiful hand painted 3 ply sock yarn in a 100% merino with a tweed stripe effect. Two of the plys of this yarn are non-super wash merino while the third is super wash. This affects the manner in which the different types of yarn take the color producing a tweed look. The soft pastel colors of this yarn remind me of gumdrops, hince the name.
