Measurements of garment (taken flat, so double for entire garment):

Waist (taken at the narrowest part of the garment): 14
Hips (taken approximately where skirt begins to fall): free
Length (armpit to hem): 44
Vintage sizing can be different from modern sizing. Please rely on individual measurements, rather than the sizing on the tag. The simplest way to measure is to take a similar garment that fits you well, lay it out on a flat surface and measure it. Also, don't assume that if you wear a 34 bra that a 32 bust will not fit you, it may actually be a perfect fit. Measure your well-fitting garment underarm to underarm to check this.
Please note: My dress form is from the 1960’s, and so she has a bullet bra shape. To show what this item looks like on a more modern silhouette, she is wearing a strapless bra. The bust of this garment is sheer, so if it appears as though there is a nude lining under the bust, that is the strapless bra, and not part of the garment.
Tag: Gotham Gold Stripe, size 32, style 5188
Details I love: Hem is sewn so that the skirt of the nightgown sticks out and swirls around you. The lace around the bust is beautiful
Condition: There are fine pulls in the chiffon throughout the garment, but you only see these with close examination. Otherwise, no flaws.
I make every effort to thoroughly check each garment I sell. I examine the entire length of every seam, lace to fabric connections, and look over each layer of fabric for any pulls, snags, holes, or stains. Any flaws I find are noted in the description. Very few of the garments I sell, being in vintage condition, are completely perfect. However, the majority of them are sturdy and flaws are only visible upon very close inspection. I tend to over explain flaws, but I want you to be as informed as possible about the condition of the item. It is however possible for me to miss something, so please understand that this item is in vintage condition.
