What a nice Easter piece. I have stitched the desing on 32 count hand dyed linen,with overdyed floss. Lots of tiny cross stitches complete this piece. The "ruffle" around the egg is done with cotton ribbon,which has been aged,as had the back of the egg which is done in a tiny calico print. This is a wonderful Vintage design by Homespun Elegance...
