It is drawn in black ink on white cold press archival quality stock using the pointillism method. Pointillism is the process of laying down tiny dots so close together the eye creates the vision. Once the ink is dry, layers of watercolor wash are laid down using the dry brush method meaning the paper is not wetted prior to coloring.
Great care is taken to create the illusion of paper-thin petals and that "still-growing" look of life.
