Cyprus Thyme and Marjoram

we found a herb whilst wandering about in the mountains looking for orchids to photograph (another passion!) that is neither thyme, oregano nor marjoram but smells like a wonderful mixture of all of them. We dashed home and made it into a soap adding thyme, marjoram and a dash of tea tree and it is wonderful. The scent is evocative of walking through dusty, hot thyme and oregano covered mountains with the brown earth underfoot and the sea in the distance. Initially we thought it would appeal mainly to men but have found it equally popular with men and women. It is bubbly and creamy and lasts well – a lovely speckled soap
