a Repository of Pleasant and Profitable Discourses Descriptive of the Household Furniture and Ornaments of Olden Time." A little verbose, but it does sum the topic up rather completely.
This 1st edition, 1st printing, is a rare collector's find in relatively good condition for its age. Published in 1919 by Atlantic Monthly Press, Boston, the pages of this 1st / 1st sit relatively unscathed inside the marbled, somewhat worn, hardcover. Although the interior pages are fagile and yellowed by age, there is no dirt or markings on the pages and the binding is still in very good shape.
The only significant damage to the book is in the area of the lower right corner of the cover, where it has been rounded off and literally worn away about a quarter inch. This book measures 5-7/8 by 8-7/8 inches, is 207 pages in legnth, and it does not have a dust jacket. Laced with photographs throughout, "Collector's Luck" is still very readible and makes for an entertaining and enjoyable read.
