A mask of plastic happiness often covers her sadness
Her beliefs hidden from most
Afraid of, but willing to face the unknown
Wondering where her place is in this life
~Wolfgirl
Plastic Happiness is an original acrylic painting on wrapped canvas. I created it using 12x12 canvas, layers of acrylic paints, gesso, light molding paste, pencil, gel medium, gel gloss, and varnish.
Size: 12" x 12" x .75" thick
Date of Creation: 2011
Type: acrylic painting on wrapped canvas. Staples on back. All sides are painted black. No need to frame; can be hung out of the box on a nail right out of the box. However, it would look specular framed, also.
Sealed several times to protect it from dirt and dust. It has a slight glossy shine. If it gets dusty, all you have to do is wipe with a dry cloth.
It is signed, titled and dated on back.
If you like what you see in the photos, you'll like it even more in person. Honestly, my photos don't do my artwork justice. I just can't get the photos to look exactly like the painting. It's hard for the camera to capture the depth and richness in the layers of paint.
