Each hook is made from a 1 7/8" (just under 2") square beach glass tile and a small accent glass center piece. Each tile has been frosted and has smooth, rounded edges. The tile is then permanently affixed to the hook hardware. The back of the tile has a roughened white surface that is generally not visible when the hook is installed.
The hardware piece has a chrome finish, and includes a screw and a very high quality self drilling EZ Anchor to insure secure installation. The hook hardware is actually two pieces that detach so that you can screw into the wall through the bottom part. The top is then attached securely to the bottom with a small allen wrench, also included.
Depending upon how you choose to install the bottom piece, the hook will be either a square or diamond shape. The two piece construction allows you to change out your hook colors if you order more than one... once the bottom is attached to the wall it's easy to use the allen wrench to remove the top piece and put on another.
