This bracelet is medium blue with a layer of dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is glass containing multiple micro-layers of metal oxides which give the glass dichroic optical properties. When fired in the kiln, dichroic glass changes its appearance, so every piece of dichroic glass is unique. This particular strip shines magenta, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple. The pattern is a swirl of all of the colors.

How these bracelets are made:
Strips and chips of glass are fused together flat, then shaped at 1500 degrees on a mandrel (wrist-shaped mold) with graphite tongs. Each bracelet is completely unique and for this reason, they are slightly different in size. The opening is approximately 1 inch wide.
