Made of very light cotton, I'd call it a voile, it's semi-sheer and would require a camisole underneath. I photographed it on my gray dress form so that is the color you are seeing underneath the blouse.
A lovely pattern of pink and blue floral sprays adorn it and it's trimmed with dainty machine made lace. White plastic buttons. It is home sewn and seams are not finished inside but may have been pinked at some point.
The blouse has definitely been worn and I gave it a week long soak in a soap and oxyclean mixture to get out the accumulated stains and dirt. Now it's stain free and like any item of it's age should be gently hand laundered and allowed to dry flat. I used a garment steamer to remove wrinkles for photos.
Length from back neck to waist 23"
No tears or stains but one of the front darts at the waist has come out. This can be easily repaired by a tailor or confident home sewer.
A lovely piece for any vintage collection. Please let me know if you would like any more information.
