Antique Quilt from 1866 in Blue and White

This approximate full-size quilt was made by the great- great grandmother of a friend of ours for her wedding in the late 1860's. The piece itself was finished in the year 1866 and was lovingly hand stitched out of navy blue and white printed cotton fabrics.

Though the quilt itself has seen better days, and there are some significant stains and burn marks, it is still a beautiful testament to hand craft and would make a wonderful display piece, or could be a cutter quilt for smaller keepsake projects.

This piece measures 85 by 77 inches.
