This is an abstract art embroidery made with cream coloured wool salvaged from an old blanket. Eco friendly art for your wall! This is touchable, textured art - chunky olive green stitches contrast with the fuzzy woven wool background.
Fixed in a wooden embroidery hoop for display, with a cardboard backing behind the wool detailing the name of the artwork - Little Green Hill - and when it was made etc. I stitched across the back a few times with cotton yarn to help keep the embroidery in place.
You can hang this through the gap at the top by the metal screw adjuster (I recommend using a nail with about one inch sticking out from the wall) or loop some ribbon around the screw and hang it from that.
SIZE: Approximately 6 and a quarter inches in diameter
(approximately 16 cm)
PLEASE NOTE: some computer monitors show colours differently. The stitches are a subtle, light olive green. If the exact colour is important to you, you are welcome to send me a message and I'll do my best to send a colour sample to you free of charge! Or you could request a custom made embroidery from me if you like?
As with all my items, the recycled components were washed before use.
