The teardrop hoops were created using recycled silver. Each was hand cut and is imperfectly perfect. The Moorish texture adds an interesting and lovely touch. They have been oxidized to bring out the texture with a slightly colored patina. I polished each to a shine, but left the patina in the recesses to bring out the texture. They are substantial in size and are heirloom quality.
I set a small faceted blue sapphire in silver on each medallion. They are of excellent quality and make these earrings a piece to be cherished.
The backs are inscribed with 'Stay the course, light a star' 'change the world wherever you are.' and a star.
These earrings measure 2-2.25 inches long.

I used recycled sterling silver wire to wrap each medallion to it's ear wire.
The ear wires are also recycled sterling silver.
