This handmade cheer card with envelope features a paper quilled tea cup / coffe cup. The patterned paper has bright, cheery morning colours of yellows, oranges and lime green. The cup is a bright blue with white paper quilled steam. This cheer card has the message "perk up".

This card stands up on its own to reveal a further message, "every day is a new day". Open the card fully and there is room for your personal sentiments which remain hidden when the card is standing up in its display position. The base card colour is vanilla.

The quilled creations of today find their roots in Paper Filigree. Paper Filigree is the art of making things out of rolled paper. When paper filigree started, the paper was rolled around a feather quill which created the name paper quilling!

This quilled cup of cheer card is 4.25 by 5.5 inches (11 by 14 cm) and comes with a plain white envelope. The card is built from heavy weight cardstock. The inside is blank vanilla cardstock for your own message.

The back of each card bears a shop label, signature and creation date. All materials are acid and lignin free products designed for scrapbooking.
