Now, reduced to $6.00!

Shorthand was used in a time before technology made taking notes by hand obsolete. But when I look at it now, a language I never learned and do not understand, all I see are the lyrical shapes and forms. So pretty. So cryptic.

So, when I found some “well-loved” copies of “The Gregg Writer” from the 1940’s (mostly 1944-1946), all I could think was “How could I give these pages a new life?” (“The Gregg Writer” was a magazine for people learning shorthand and a lot of the articles were written entirely in shorthand!).

This package has 10 pieces of approx. 8 3/4 inch by 5 3/4 inch pages in it for you to use in your scrapbooking, altered art, mixed media or collage projects. The pages have a beautiful warm cream color and the edges are even just a bit darker from age. Some of the pages have odd little pictures illustrating the articles. These papers are great for upcycling or for decorating other things to give them a new life as well! See the last images for photos I took of a bottle I decorated with them!
