DESCRIPTION: Early 60's chic Norman Paulvin "beehive" hat is one of my faves--looks stunning on! Made of plush velvet wrapped and draped on a structured net base, set off with a soft back bow. Perfectly wearable today, vintage but not dated looking. Color is a fabulous shade of blue--bright, yet deep and rich. Luxurious, very soft velvet is probably rayon or rayon-blend, as it's much softer than cotton velvet. Will look great with most hairstyles and any style of apparel.
CONDITION: Near-mint; appears unworn or worn once or twice. Interior shows no signs of wear, exterior has very minimal signs of handling.
SIZE: No label; measures about 21" inside diameter, and has small side combs to anchor it. Since it sits back and not around the largest diameter of the head, it has some flexibility in fit. Fits me very nicely, and I take a size 22 hat. Feels like it would also fit a slightly smaller or larger head, too, given the combs.
