vintage PRICKLY PEAR 1930s Art Deco pin

A great Art Deco pin with a large stone and a pavé setting. The clear, point back rhinestones radiate out from the pink central stone, which is meant to resemble a ruby. I believe the stone is actually molded glass, since there are no visible nicks or scuffs only the crown is faceted. It is a wonderful, syrupy pink color and it is intricately faceted. The setting is covered in a dull silver non-tarnishing plating. Although some of the rhinestones are a bit dim, overall condition is excellent. Secures with a pin and old safety clasp.
