Antique Floor Lamp Shade Arts & Crafts handmade Art deco/Art Nouveau lampshade Beaded fringe

As it states in our profile, we provide antique lighting and this is a wonderful example of the unique handmade shades that are created by DiBella Luce. Although I limit the amount of lamps I Iist, mainly due to the price and the time and care involved with shipping, I did want to feature this particular piece of luminary art because of it's rarity and quality of the hand embroidered floral piece that is the focal point. Originally it was an Arts and Crafts table runner from around 1910 or so. It did have some holes and shredding trim but I was able to save the most beautiful part of the runner which is the silk and metallic hand embroided net. The base of the fabric is a hand dyed ombre silk in shades of amber to light grey blue. The sides of the shade have the original netting with some of the edging featuring an Art Nouveau swirly line design. This is a Gothic window shaped shade and was custom made to fit the original embroidery. The back is plain but trimmed in a 1920's metallic trim . The beading is all hand done over 1920's metallic bullion fringe. The original blue bugle beads from and old 1920's shade were recycled and incorporated into the fringe shown. Other vintage beads are also included in the fringe. The floor lamp dates from the 1920's and is a coppery bronze color and still retains it's original paint on the Art Deco rod and base. It has an Egyptian style to it. I do have more detailed photos of the base but I had to limit it. The lamp has been rewired with it's original double sockiet that provides 2 bulbs so you can adjust the brightness of the light. The original pull chain is still retained. The shade itself measures 22" tall by 19" wide and 7" wide at the side panels. The fringe is 7" from the bottom of the shade and is not missing any beads. In total with the shade the lamp stands approximately 69" tall, I prefer to sell it all together but due to shipping, I will sell the shade by itself. Please inquire if interested.
