A Cute Hand-painted, One Cup, miniature teapot with saucer. I love how the alternating lines of blue and brown color vertically run down sides of the vessel and continue onto the saucer. The ring handle allows one finger to hold it nicely. The top has a hole to allow steam out. The piece has a modern sensibility about it, but is classically Japanese. Stamped on base with manufacturer's marks. No cracks, chips or stains.

The clay has a grayish hue, and the glaze has lots of interesting crazing.
