The ear wire is 20 gauge sterling silver.
The entire earring measures about 2 3/8-2 1/2" (6.- 6.3cm) from the very top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. The widest part across is about 1 3/8 - 1 1/2" (3.6 - 3 .9cm).

The copper wire used in these earrings is in it's natural form and not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxides over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny.
