I just came back from a show in NY and that means new materials. This necklace is made from celluloid. It has to be worked cool, and wet. I melts at a low temperature. All the chic french costume jewelry was made out of this starting in the mid 50's. It lasts forever.
Antiqued copper jump rings, mother daughter style antiqued copper 18"chain, closing with a trigger clasp. These 5 triangles are ocean blue or cornflower blue celluloid triangles 3/4" long and 3 1/2" wide for all five. There's a bit of sparkle in each piece too. :-)
Stay tuned...I have big enough pieces to make some beautiful items. I can't wait.
