This is an original design, limited edition (second of three) hand-cut papercutting of a cat taking a nap with his paws in the air. I designed this papercutting portrait from a photo I took of a cat friend of mine, and I cut it by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted to 8"x10". The double mat is cream and dusty blue, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a pattern of dark blue satin folds.
