We at Jupiter’s Child believe that childhood should be a lot of fun. That’s why we decided to create what might possibly be the Ultimate Jump Rope. None of that plastic-y, beady stuff. Our ropes are 100% cotton, hand-spliced locally by our good friend Steve “the Rope Guy” Burke, and lovingly hand-dyed by us. This particular jump rope is dyed a bright yellow with turquoise handles.
Our 1-person jump ropes are 8 feet long and feature strong, intricately knotted handles. We use safe, water-based procion dyes that will not fade or run. If desired, you can wash them in the washing machine and hang them up to dry. They are practically indestructible.
These are the ropes that have been used on Waldorf School playgrounds for many years. Running, skipping, jumping rope and balancing allow the child to develop the physical coordination and control needed to perform the more complicated and challenging movements involved in reading and writing. But don’t tell your children. We’d hate to spoil their fun.

The rope you receive may not be the exact one pictured, but will be as close a copy as handcrafting will allow. Heck, it might even be better!
