Portrait of the Goddess Hecate, Queen of crossroads and secrets... being a daughter of Eleggua, Orisha of crossroads and owner of thresholds, the archetype of Hecate is very close to me - she is a Goddess we work often with, and her mercy and generosity have no end! Here she is represented on her triple form, holding two torches and wearing a key on her neck. Some of her sacred herbs - digital, willow and datura - surround her, as well as the triple moon,her dogs and her crows.
The original piece was made in acrylic on canvas. No digital editing done except for adjusting colour balances as close as possible to the original drawing. Original sold
