This wonderfully soft handmade quilt is 36" x 36". It features an adorably wise OWL on her tree branch. Hand embroidered underneath her are the words: "Grow Wise Little Owl". It is entirely made of a combination of flannel and smooth cotton including some Amy Butler and Michael Miller prints. The appliques are raw edged and machine stitched to allow for a bit of fraying around the edges. It has been washed 2 times already to allow this process to begin. My Owl quilt is entirely backed in pink coloured flannel with chocolate brown owls on it. I can also include a hanging sleeve on the back so it may be hung on the wall, if you would like.
I use only cotton batting (Warm & White/Warm & Natutral tm) inside my quilts. This one has taken hours for me to complete because the lettering was hand embroidered but was a joy to make. I hope it will find a home in your little Owl's Nursery :)
