The heart is a dark chocolatey brown color and measures 2 inches in length by 1.25 inches in width. The 20mm cab has a blue green bloom on a black background. Because it is made of wood it's light weight. The whole necklace including the chain weighs only 1 ounce. It hangs on an angle from a 24 inch copper rolo chain. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ LOVE ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
When Kimi and I were discussing our exciting collaboration she told me that these hearts remind her of the dragon hearts in the third book of the Eragon series. The dragon's "heart of hearts" is a gemlike part of their heart where they can store their whole consciousness, allowing them to "live" after their bodies had failed them. I love that concept. We decided since this was a collaboration between two studios that the name "dragon hearts" fit our creations perfectly!
