The nest with three pink eggs sweetly symbolizes many things: mom's love for her "brood," an expecting mom “on the nest,” girl triplets, a family of three, three granddaughters, or three best girlfriends. Or, it could commemorate your move into your new nest -- or perhaps just a love of birds!
Each pendant features genuine freshwater pearls as “eggs,” and each nest is hand woven from a single piece of sterling silver wire 5 feet long. Because the three pink eggs are strung on the wire itself, they are an integral part of the pendant, tucked securely in the nest so they cannot fall out. The finished pendant is approximately ¾” in length from the top to bottom and about ½” wide, but because each is handmade, no two are exactly alike. Please expect some variation in size, shape, and wire work.
Mama’s Magic Bird’s Nest Pendants are ideal for mothers, grandmothers, or other caretakers. The number of eggs often symbolizes the family situation, corresponding to the number of children and/or grandchildren.
I use tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling silver wire in the construction of all my sterling silver nests, which means your nest will stay bright and shiny for a long time to come! Argentium sterling silver is more expensive than traditional sterling silver, but I believe that this high quality material is well worth the cost. I offer many other custom options: one, two, three, or more eggs (up to 6) can be worked into this bird's nest design, with large and small eggs available as well to symbolize parents and children or children and grandchildren. Custom egg colors are also available in white or blue or pink, and the nest can be made in sterling silver or, for a more affordable option, copper jewelry wire in silver color or natural copper. Because each pendant is made by hand, please expect variations in the wire work and finished size. Because of their natural origin, please expect some variation in pearl size, shape, and color. I do my best to complete custom orders quickly, and unless extraordinary circumstances intervene, I will be able to ship your order within 3 business days after payment clears.
