I sculpted copper into a frame of a moon and embellished it with copper swirls & black faceted acrylic beads.
Hanging from the copper moon is
~ A gorgeous, black/pearlized shell disc, strung with tiny black seed beads (this is a found object upcycled into this piece).This is strung to the moon with a black glass bead. A small black/pearlized shell disc also adorns the moon.
~ Adorning the bottom of the moon are 3 strands, each containing a faceted iridescent glass bead, semi precious black stones and a tumbled real stone at the end.
A swirled copper hook is attached at the top & is ready to enhance your home or moon garden.
The total hanging measurement is 9-1/4 inches long and 5-1/2 inches at its widest point.
Exposed to the elements the copper will patina into a dark tone.

I have what I call A Moon Garden.Plants that bloom & open only at dusk, then fade away at dawn. Moon flowers & Nicatina are some for example, along with many white flowers to enjoy during the day. I wanted to create a chime to fit into this garden, so I created my moon. I have a light shining onto it during the evening hours. This whimsical moon is sure to brighten up your garden, day & night.
