The inspiration for this design literally fell right out of the sky. My husband and I were hiking with our dogs when a Red-tailed hawk dropped its feather in our path. Red-tailed hawk feathers are considered sacred in Native American cultures and finding one is considered good luck. I hope this pillow will bring you good luck too!

Part of the Oklahoma Series. Inspired by the surroundings of my home state, this series features repeated patterns of natural objects, farm animals, and traditional Native American designs.
To keep shipping costs low, INSERTS ARE NOT INCLUDED. However, I make each pillow to fit standard pillow inserts that can be found at most home or fabric stores.
Pillow cases:
· Each case is hand-painted and therefore completely unique. There might be small imperfections in the design and slight variation from piece to piece. I think this makes each pillow special, I hope you agree.
· Painted with non-toxic, water soluble fabric paint on 100% linen.
· Back made from 100% black cotton.
· Cases are machine washable. Each case has been washed and ironed to avoid color bleeding, though washing in cold water is recommended. Linen has a tendency to shrink a bit in the dryer, so line drying is recommended.
