The original painting is one of a series of Inverted Image Paintings I began last year, based on photos taken in the Boulder, Colorado area. I invert (reverse) the photo digitally and then I paint or draw the inversion. This scene produced dramatic clouds in unexpected colors:

"Storm Reversal" is a digital inversion of the original painting! When I reversed the painting, I loved the cloud colors such as turquoise blue, white and brown that appeared. The mountains below are a deep blue and light blue-green.
SIZE: 8" x 10" (20.32cm x 25.4cm) with a small white border all around.
Signed and dated by me on the front and back of the print.
Printed on an 8.5x11 sheet of Hahnemuhle Matte Fine Art Photo Rag 308 gsm, an acid free digital paper with the texture and heavy weight of fine watercolor paper. I use archival Epson inks. My digital reproductions are coated with Hahnemuhle Protective Spray which protects the paper from water, scratches and U.V. damage.
