For this one shown in photos - the 3 layers of butterflies are created by recycling an old copy of Jane Austen's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE as well as scraps of black Swiss dot Bazzill card stock.

The fabulous 3D effect of the raised butterflies and their folded wings gives wonderful shadows whenever natural or artificial light is shining and your art is dated with the year and signed by hand on the back.
✿ NOTE -- SPECIAL AIR MAT NEEDED for BEST EFFECT
When you are matting + framing this creation, you will want to use an AIR MAT which is a special type of mat -- 2 mats with a spacer between them -- as this will enable the wings of each layer to be appreciated and the fluttering effect to have maximum effect.
