This beautiful handpainted drum is so hard for me to part with. I've long wanted to paint an iconic rendering of The Greenman. This year I finally did so and I'm so pleased with how he turned out.
He features a variety of leaves & flowers from various seasons. The European Robin signifies rebirth, while the Raven skull reminds us of death. A fairy wing, and seeing stone remind us of the hidden world, and feathers are symbolic of our connection to spirit.
The drum is sealed with matte finish poly sealant. And comes with it's own carrying case.
You CAN play this drum, occasionally and with your hand. BUT, for the most part you should consider this a decorative piece that you play only on special occasions.
Like most artists - I offer repairs of damage and wear, for very modest fees, for ALL of my original art. This drum is no different. However, if you regularly play the drum and incur a lot of wear, of course my fee would increase.
