On offer is a set of 2 midcentury teak platters or servers from the 1950s or 1960s. Extremely simple and beautifully articulated, these would look at home in a midcentury modern or contemporary interior. They are not marked, but have more in common with examples I've seen produced in Scandinavia than those I've seen with stamped markings from elsewhere. Rich color, and nice heft without being heavy; the wood is thick in a satisfying way.
The larger platter measures 12 inches square, and the smaller is 10 inches square. Good, worn vintage condition, though this is the type of thing that looks better with wear -- both have been used and carefully cared for over time, and wear their marks proudly.
A handsome set, and ready for years of use.
