A curious ring. To enhance your mysterious vibe. The wide copper band appears chunky and substantial from the front, but curves deliberately away towards the back, flattering the finger and allowing for a very comfortable fit. Beloved, glowing copper has been hammered and abused, leaving it tough, scarred and emotionally hardened. I applied a dark patina to highlight the battered texture, exploiting the surface wounds to increase visual drama. In contrast, the focal point of this ring is a lovely delicate scrap of white vintage lace with a slightly asymmetrical pattern. Framed by a gleaming burnished copper bezel, the lace is reminiscent of a fragile fragment of spider web. Like Snow White, trapped and preserved eternally behind glass. The cold, crystal clear glass cabochon is the window into this ring's intricate, vulnerable core.

This ring has been through a lot. It will sympathize with your plights and make a cherished, fiercely loyal companion.



Dimensions: band is approximately 1/2" wide in front, sloping to 5/16" wide in the back. I can make this ring in any size, so please include your ring size in Notes To Seller. If you have questions about ring sizing, please convo me and I will help!

(Please note: the dark patina will soften and change over time. Although it is sealed and protected with Renaissance wax, the patina will gradually wear away, particularly on the sides and back of the ring, revealing the warm copper and further emphasizing the hammered texture. Also, some people worry about a copper ring turning their finger green. Metal is alive and reacts differently to each person's unique skin ph. If you wish, you could apply a layer of clear nail polish to the inside of the band to seal it. Personally I prefer to leave the copper raw and allow it to do its own thing.)
