Written by Jack Woodford, The Hard-Boiled Virgin was copyright in 1947 by Avon Book Company. This is a revised version of the original book Lady Killer copyright 1935 by Woodford's pseudonym Howard Kennedy.
Described as "a delightfully different romance," this steamy book has a great colorful cover and in decent condition. The pages are yellowed and there is a weird break in the book which makes half the pages one length and the other half another (see the photo). This could be from the way the spine of the book is glued - but the spine is still in good shape and the pages all still attached.
