Turning the crank to the right raises then drops the hammer to the left onto a coin. This is the perfect gift for the desktop of the not so busy executive who has everything—a distraction from the rigors and boredom of the day. The base of this machine is poplar; other parts are of assorted specie making each unit unique. All visitors can be asked to guess what it is. After a few wrong guesses, they can be told, "Ah, silly person, this is a Quarter-pounder."
The machine measures 4 1/2" by 9 1/2" by 4 1/2" tall and bears the mark of Mike Burton, master artisan, sculptor and author. Other items are available, and custom commissions welcome. Email Mike at wigglewood65 [!at] yahoo.com and be sure to visit my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/wigglewood65
