This is an original design, limited edition (secondof three) hand-cut papercutting of a Newfoundland dog. I designed this papercutting portrait from a photo I took of a newfie that I met at a dog show, and I cut it by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted to 8"x10". The double mat is dark green and pale blue, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a mix of dull blues, greens, and gray.
