This is an original design, limited edition (secondof three) hand-cut papercutting of a Norwegian Elkhound. I designed this papercutting portrait from a photo I took of an elkhound that I met at a dog show, and I cut it by hand with an x-acto knife.
This piece is matted to 8"x10". The double mat is textured light blue and gray, the cutting itself is done in a white cold-press watercolor paper, and the background behind the cutting is a mix of gray, black and dull greens. The watermark is on the photos only, not the actual piece.
